‘In Other Words’ Books is a global supplier of books – selling, sourcing, ordering, shipping them to your door, whatever their age or status – new, in print or long out-of-print. We have thousands of titles in stock, some new or unused, others second-hand, and many out-of-print. Some of these titles can be found on Abebooks.co.uk and more are being added every day. Our health books are now listed (often overlapping with the Complementary Medicine, Parenting, Self-help or Sex/Sexuality catalogues), and psychology and spirituality books, are mostly now listed to be followed by our tremendous range of poetry books.   It’s a long process but we’ll get there! 

'We now have all our local titles listed, so it's worth looking at the 'Local' category for Devon and Cornwall history and natural history, walks, photography and the like.  We also now have a large number of gay and lesbian titles listed although there will be a lot more as time goes on. 

We hope you'll find something of interest. We try to send the books out the same day. Payment can be made by credit or debit card, cheques in pounds sterling drawn on a British bank or bank transfer (BACS) – we hope to accept payment through Paypal eventually. We usually wait for cheques to be cleared before sending the books.

We can also order and supply new books - distance no object! New titles ordered will be priced (usually) at 10% off the retail price. Local (Plymouth, Devon) customers are welcome to drop in, either to order titles or to pick up their orders, but please ring us first. We are usually here Mondays-Fridays 10.30 – 5.30pm.
